My Approach
I specialize in working with children, using developmentally appropriate treatment methods. I have multiple years of experience working with children dealing with a variety of life issues including trauma, foster care/adoption, anxiety, anger management, self-esteem, and other behavioral issues. I provide parents with evidenced-based parenting strategies to promote the parent-child attachment and healthy development of the child.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working with children and their caregivers in a variety of settings. This experience has given me the ability to provide individualized treatment plans to best meet the needs of the children and families I work with.

Child Centered Play Therapy
Child Centered Play Therapy is a developmentally appropriate form of therapy used with children. Children are best able to express themselves through play. When children play they are often working through problems. Child-Centered Play Therapy provides a safe environment with a trained professional who is able to understand the child's language of play.

Child Parent Relationship Therapy
Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) is a play based intervention that focuses on the relationship between the parent and child. Through CPRT the parent learns play therapy skills which allow them to better understand the child's emotional needs, strengthen the relationship, and learn effective ways to set limits with children.

Conscious Discipline
Conscious Discipline is a trauma-informed, evidenced-based program proven to empower parents with the skills to create a safe, connected, problem-solving environment for children and parents

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an intervention focused on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors. Through CBT children learn to use positive self-talk and coping skills to improve their emotional regulation.
